The Brief
Swoop was created for a freelance client to connect local retailers with nearby shoppers through timely, location-aware offers.
The Solution
I designed and delivered the cross-platform mobile application in Flutter, using a shared codebase to make iOS and Android delivery cost-effective. I was also responsible for setting up and configuring the Firebase backend.
The product uses geofencing and location data to deliver time-limited vouchers when a user is close to a participating retailer. The result joins mobile UX, cloud services and location-aware behaviour into one coherent product rather than treating them as separate technical features.
